Growing up in western Sonoma County exposed Tracey to the world of wine at an early age. Unsure of her career path, she worked in food service while attending St. Mary’s College of Moraga. Cooking became a passion and her first job out of college was as a fry cook at a night club in a Marriott Hotel. Four years of college and cooking hot wings at midnight made her parents cringe. Late nights were the foundation of great things to come as a fellow cook took interest in Tracey and they began sharing their interest in wine. Twenty plus years later, the fellow cook turned husband, Mark is still sharing similar interests as they have been partners in life and business since then.

She has led the front of the house operations in the restaurants she has opened with Mark since 1997. Her common-sense approach to customer service has earned top ratings by ZAGAT and Open Table for service at Taste Restaurant in Plymouth, CA. Providing local and worldly bottles of wine, Taste has received The Wine Spectator Award of Excellence consecutively since 2008.

Tracey credits much of her success to her mother for teaching her to be a gracious host, to always be passionate about what you do in your life and never forget to have fun.
