Harrah’s $50, 000 Cornhole Toss Rules:


•Adults 21 and over, upon entry into the Fair will be given a ticket for one free entry into adrawing to be selected to have one shot at a cornhole toss for $50, 000 if the following criteriais met:
•Bring your proof of entry to the Harrah’s Kiosk, just inside the Main Gate to enter. Must enterbefore 7:00 p.m. Saturday July 31st,.
•Contestant to be drawn Noon, Sunday, August 1st.
•Must be available to do the Cornhole Toss, Sunday at 5:30 p.m., just before the DemolitionDerby.
•ACO-PRO status cornhole players are ineligible to participate.
•There shall be only one 1) contestant selected, and that contestant will be entitled to one (1)and only one (1) attempt described in 2.g-2.h below.
•The contestant will not be permitted any practice, warm up, or qualifying tosses.
•A contestant must successfully toss one (1) six inch by six inch (6” x 6”) square bean bag,weighing no more than sixteen ounces (16 oz.) (each, a “Bean Bag”), through the cornholetarget hole in the cornhole platform (“Target Hole”). The Target Hole may not exceed adiameter of six inches (6”) and must be centered nine inches (9”) from the top of the platform(i.e., that part of the platform furthest from the contestant). The platform should beconstructed of plywood or hardwood, and the top of the platform should measure twenty-four inches (24") wide by thirty-four- and one-half inch (34 1/2") to thirty-six (36") long. Thefront of the platform (i.e., that part of the platform nearest to the contestant) should beapproximately five inches (5”) tall and the back of the platform should be approximatelytwelve inches (12”) tall creating an approximate twelve-degree (12°) angle of inclination.
•Once tossed by the contestant, the Bean Bag must not come into contact with any objectother than the platform itself and must pass through the Target Hole completely, with at leastsome portion of the Bean Bag entering the Target Hole on the fly before passing completelythrough the Target Hole (i.e., hitting the cornhole platform on the fly and sliding into theTarget Hole will not constitute a successful attempt). The toss must be made from behind ademarcation line (“Demarcation Line”) located a distance from the Target Hole of no less thanfifty feet (50’). The contestant’s foot may not come in contact with or cross the DemarcationLine prior to that contestant releasing the Bean Bag.
•If (i) the eligible contestant tosses a Bean Bag from behind the Demarcation Line, and if (ii) theBean Bag passes completely through the Target Hole, without bouncing from the ground, orcoming into contact with any other surface, person or object other than the platform itselfprovided that at least some portion of the Bean Bag enters the Target Hole on the fly beforepassing completely through the Target Hole, and if (iii) Sponsor and the contestant havecomplied with the terms and conditions of this contract and Sponsor’s Official PromotionRules, then SCA will pay Sponsor the prize amount specified in the Schedule of Available Prizes
below, subject to the Maximum Aggregate Liability and verification by SCA. IF ONLY A PORTION OF THE BEAN BAG LANDS AND REMAINS IN THE TARGET HOLE, THE TOSS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED A SUCCESSFUL TOSS AND NO PRIZE WILL BE AWARDED.
•If the event is canceled due to a force majeure which prevents the conducting of the event,assuming no attempts to win the prize were initiated and SCA is notified in writing prior to thecancellation, this contract may be amended to a rescheduled date without additional charges.
•SCHEDULE OF AVAILABLE PRIZES:
Prize Amount: $50,000
•Employees, agents, successors, and assignees of Sponsor, its advertising agencies andpromotional companies involved in this Promotion, as well as family and household membersof same, shall be ineligible to participate in the Promotion and shall be ineligible for any prizecovered herein.
•Names and likenesses of Promotion winner(s) may be used by Sponsor and Sponsor'sdesignee(s) for promotional purposes without further compensation to Sponsor or thePromotion winner(s).
•Where Sponsor's Official Promotion Rules conflict in any way with the terms of this contract,the conflict shall be resolved according to the terms in this contract. Sponsor is responsible forany and all prizes payable under the terms of Sponsor's Official Promotion Rules which are notin compliance with or payable under the terms of this contract. Sponsor warrants thatSponsor's Official Promotion Rules comply with federal, state and local laws and regulations
