For the first time, the Amador County Fair is offering six lucky contestants a chance to become the ultimate Amador County Fair Survivor. Six contestants will be chosen to spend the entire duration of the fair, from Thursday, July 30 to Sunday, August 2, 2009, at the fairgrounds in Plymouth.
During that time, contestants will be asked to complete several tasks. Fair survivor contestants may have no money of their own, will not be allowed any electronic devies and must eat fair food the entire time. The winner will be awarded $500 and an additional $500 will be given to their favorite local charity.
